This coin walked up to us-from along time collector we have known probably for 25+ years. According to him, this coin is as fresh as picking a ready to eat tomato off a ripe vine in a field. Its been off the market for nearly 30 years! Not only is the freshness evident, so its the sweetness (quality)!
Shimmering mirrors are sleek and beam from all over. Even when using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections anywhere. When you tilt the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice with pinch of a watery roll. Both sides are a faint gold (NOT a haze). There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have gentle but clear frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 5, NGC 5, CAC 6. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $7,638.00 09/2019. As time goes on, we can not imagine more these popping up -especially looking as good as this coin!
