There is no doubt in our minds this coin sat undisturbed somewhere for the last 120 years. It is every bit the grade assigned!
Immaculate surfaces are as good as they come. Even using a strong glass and looking around for a while, you will find only a few frost breaks-no real imperfections. The surfaces do appear very thick and satiny smooth. A glowing unbroken luster makes the original nickel color surfaces really stand out. There are NO spots. You do not need a glass to see every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and stands out (including the corn on the reverse). The eye appeal is sensational!
PCGS 11, NGC 3, CAC 5. There are 2 MS67+ higher. The market has severely spanked this series and grade for NO reason. The last auction record for one selling prior to this coin was $7,344.00 05/2018. If you are building a great Type or 5C MS Liberty Nickel set, take advantage of this hiccup in the market. This coin deserves to be in a great home!
