We fully grade this coin a PR67+++ (note PCGS does NOT). This is a terribly UNDERrated date in SUPERB GEM. Frankly, this is one of the very best 1902’s we have ever seen!
Exquisite deep mirrors beam intensely from all over. The mirrors have bold clarity and are clean. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a deep “watery” roll. A gorgeous light layer of totally original lemon/powder blue/nickel colors swirl all over.There are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are pinpoints harp in strike. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCSG 24, NGC 17, CAC 14. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,560.00 02/2020. It was not even close to looking like this coin! The current PCGS CAC value is $1,620.00.
