We consider this coin to be a real numismatic treasure! It was from the Oliver Jung Type set (“The Type Collection which was #1 all time) that was recently broken up.
Remarkable surfaces are pretty much perfect. They also have a killer satiny texture. This leads us to believe this coin was left undisturbed somewhere after it left the bank-114 years ago. Some mild rose toning mixes with the pure original pale nickel color. There are ZERO spots or stains. Even the luster is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally with the stars and the corn completely visible with out a glass. This is a REAL MS67! The eye appeal is heart pounding and then some!
PCGS 5, NGC 1, CAC 3. Another 1905 PCGS MS67 CAC sold for $5,875.00 back in 01/2017. We can NOT believe how in expensive these have become. This coin in particular is a great piece for the FINEST Type or MS Liberty Collection. Oliver Jung did all the hard work for you!
