We are amazed at how this coin managed to survive the 106 years since it left the bank so pristine. We can’t imagine a nicer 13-D!
Impeccable surfaces are a delight to behold. Surveying the coin using a strong glass only impresses you even more. There is a full and glowing luster all over. Both sides are an original nickel color mixed with swirling pale gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 16, NGC 7, CAC 7. The last PCGS CAC example to sell in auction brought $14,100.00 way back in 01/014. As you can see, this date and grade does NOT make any frequent appearances. This coin is not any retread having been off the market for well over a decade until now.
