This wonder GEM was part of the Oliver Jung Type set. We admit we tried it for an MS68+, obviously PCGS did not think it was there. This coin is the ultimate of color and quality.
Absolutely pristine surfaces are a joy to behold. Even using a strong glass there are no imperfections anywhere. A decent glowing like luster beams from all over. Both sides enjoy a monster blend of totally original rainbow emerald green/violet/reddish gold/gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
PCGS 28, NGC 23, CAC 11. The last example to sell via auction brought $18,213.00 03/2019 (this was a white coin). This coin was purchased by Oliver Jung for $21,787.00 09/2014. The Oliver Jung Collection was the FINEST EVER Type set. If this coin was good enough for that set, it is more then worthy of ANY collection!
