Apparently for 91 years this coin has remained safely stored and untouched.
Pristine surfaces are just that. Even using a strong glass we could not find even the slightest imperfection. The surfaces are slightly satiny in texture and do have a strong luster. A mellow and totally original mix of nickel/pale champagne colors swirl all over. All of the details are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 494, NGC 174, CAC 124. PCGS has graded 66 coins MS66+.The last PCGS CAC MS66 to sell in auctiion brought $881.00 03/2019. There certainly is not flood of these hanging around the market!
