5C 1928 PCGS MS66+
SUPERB in every respect! We see no reason why this GEM is not a MS67 (but make no promises it ever will).
First thing to note is how ultra clean BOTH sides are. Even with a strong glass you can not find any imperfections of any kind (NO spots). The surfaces are also sating and have a bold luster. The obverse is more of a nickel blue while the reverse is that plus a hint of pale purple. All of the details are frosty and have excellent strikes. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 183, NGC 47, CAC 12. In MS66+ PCGS has graded only 4 coins. None have sold in auction. A MS67 is worth at least $7,000.00.
