This is the ULTIMATE Gold bar/ingot! Our experts believe it is the only one known-and they have seen hundreds of Assay Bars over the years. The obverse is clearly stamped NY Assay 999.8 fine. The bar is #132. 9.15 ounces is stamped on the side. Generally Assay bars trade for 2X the price of gold. With this being so special, it was figured at 3x. It is extremely historical as we all know, owning gold was outlawed in 1933!
