G $1 1855 PCGS AU58 SS CENTRAL AMERICA

Even if it were not a Ship Wreck coin, it would still be pretty cool. We fully agree with the AU58 designation. Remarkable surfaces do not show any major problems. All we could find using a strong glass is a few light scattered frost breaks. There is no evidence of any harsh restoration or the fact the coin had been under water over 100 years. An honest nearly full luster beams from all over. Miss Liberty and all he details are sharply struck and display only light even wear. There are NO discolorations. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS Ship Wreck pop: 8, NONE higher. Regular  AU 58 pops 529, NGC 2015, CAC 56. We are not sure if this was on the log or if it was from a crew member or passenger.
