G$1 1855 PCGS MS64

Clearly, this is an exceptional coin! We did resubmit it seeking a + (NO promises)

Only with a strong glass can you detect some minor imperfections that keep this coin as an MS64.  There is very bold die clashing visible. The surfaces are quite lustrous. Both sides are a beautiful and totally original yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. No question this coin was never messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are pinpoint sharp in strike. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 247, NGC 190, CAC 37.  There are NO auction records for ANY PCGS CAC piece selling in auction. Next step up would cost at least $30,000.00-if you can even find one. This coin is more than suitable for ANY GEM MS Type set. When we needed one at the beginning of the year we found out just how hard these are to find, so we set out on a hunt. Six months later got one only because someone was liquidating a Type set.
