Fully prooflike 4″ mirrors beam boldly allow over. You don’t have to twirl the coin to see the liquid rolling mirrors as they are so flashy. The mirrors are also clean and clear. Only with a strong glass can you find a tiny planchet flake. Both sides are a beautiful totally original orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
Only 7500 minted. PCGS 72, NGC 42, CAC 21. The last regular one to sell in auction brought $2,115.00 07/2013. You know these are far harder to find then the pops indicate! A set of these 1880-1889 is neat and can be completed!
