It has always been a wonder to us how these coins manage to stay so nice being so small and 129 years old! This coin is sweet! Exceptionally clean and smooth surfaces are delight to behold. Even when using a really strong glass you will find NO impairments. A good luster enhances the moderate and totally original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 51, NGC 40, CAC 21. Hard to believe this but the last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,140.00 01/2011! We know we do NOT find NICE pieces very often (especially CAC pieces).
