G$1 1852 PCGS MS65+

This is a VERY pleasing GEM piece.

Very interesting obverse. What looks like a scuff by the face is not-its planchet issue. Overall, the surfaces re silky smooth and are clean. A surprising strong luster shows off the beautiful even and totally original deep yellow gold colors. There re no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and enjoy lots of frost. The eye appeal is very nice! PCGS
66, NGC 80, CAC 25. PCGS has graded only 6 in MS65+. This coin actually sold in our auction for $3,642.50 a year ago. We think that is cheap for a coin this old (164 years) and rare.
