Legend Numismatics is pleased to own and offer this terrific totally original, genuine proof specimen from 1833. The mintage is a mere 30 pieces-which is almost as rare as a classic rarity (like a 94S 10C-24 minted) .

No question this coin is totally original and not messed with in any way. It also shows that way back then, when the US Mint wanted to make real mirrored proofs, it did (not just specimens). The mirrors are clean and flashy. A bold coating of deep (but not dark) chocolate/navy/golden brown colors swirl together on both sides. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do stand out. The eye appeal is beautiful!

We can not stress enough what a great rarity this is. ONLY 30 pieces were ever minted. you certainly do NOT see them in many auctions or at shows. PCGS 5, NGC 6 PCGS has graded NONE higher in BN). The last one of these to appear in public auction sold for $7,475.00 Heritage 11/05-that’s FOUR years ago!!!!! In our opinion, these aren’t just a deal, they are a steal! Just think of all the coins out there with higher mintages that sell for more in the same grade (like a 16D PCGS MS64FB that sold for $20,700.00 in 04/09).
