PCGS shows no mercy on these. This coin is VERY high end. Superior surfaces have only a tiny hidden mark or two, and overall they are clean and smooth. A moderate luster shows off totally original light chocolate brown with a generous portion of GEM mint red colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and every detail are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is neat! Only one die variety was used to strike the 129,694 half cents. PCGS 55, NGC 113, CAC 28. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,058 10/2016. The current Collectors’ Universe Value is $1,350.  We really do not see nice examples often!
