H.10 1794 PCGS MS65+

Remarkable! This 222 year old  REAL”first year” strike is defines what numismatics is all about. We cannot comprehend how this true GEM has survived in such a pristine state of preservation. Clearly this coin has not handled much-if at all. The surfaces are amazingly clean and smooth. Even using a powerful glass yields NO imperfections of any size, any where. Both sides have totally original “old time” toning. The reverse is slightly darker possibly from laying on felt or cloth for many years. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. You do not need a glass to see the centering dot on her neck (kinda cool). The eye appeal is superb-especially when you realize this coin is from 1794! PCGS 7, NGC 3, CAC 3. PCGS has graded 2 in MS65+. It should be noted a PCGS CAC MS65 sold for $67,563.00 04/2015. The current Collectors Universe Value is $75,000.00. The other PCGS MS65+ CAC sold for $70,500.00 01/2016. PCGS has graded one MS66 which is impounded in major collection (we doubt it could be bought for less then $150,000.00 anyway).
