What a great coin to own. Its prooflike, looks great, is from an obsolete series, and is 176 years old! The quality is all there too (yes, its HIGH END)!
You can’t miss this coins prooflike flash. If you use a really strong glass you will see some minor lines, a teenie tick or two, and some die clashing-this is not a just made it coin. This may have been struck from rusty dies too. A splash of light color is on the right obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are amazingly struck. The eye appeal (especially for a small coin) is magnificent!
PCGS 14, NGC 3, CAC 6. The last one to sell in a major auction ( a non CAC piece) brought $1,380.00 03/2009 B+M. These do not grow on trees! We think these are “stupid cheap” at today’s prices.
