We have no idea how a 160 year old small coin can remain in “untouched” condition for so long. This is defiantly a SUPER HIGH END piece from a time long ago!
We are not kidding when we say this piece is untouched. Even using a strong glass you see NO problems. There are some light die polishing lines, but they are Mint made and do distract at all. The luster is intense. Both sides are a great job by Mother Nature: forest green/reddish gold/’violet/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
No perfectionist would want to miss them ULTRA SUPERB GEM!
PCGS 44, NGC 21, CAC 27. We can not believe how badly spanked these have been. We consider these to be “stupid” cheap.
