Only a very teenie tick or planchet flake from being a PR67 Cameo!
With a strong glass you can see the teenie tick in the left obverse field. To the naked eye the coin looks wonderfully clean. The Mirrors are deep, clear, and have strong reflectivity. A phenomenal blush of pale navy/purple/champagne colors swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and have thick frost. The eye appeal really is spectacular for such a small GEM!
ONLY 550 pieces were ever minted. Take our word on it, NICE 1862 coins of ANY denomination (MS or PR) are hard to find. PCGS 4, NGC 7, CAC 1 (CAC has only certified one coin higher). Opportunity knocks loud for a Seated Collector or someone who wants something different to put away!
