H.10 1866 PCGS PR66+

Too bad Half Dimes get so little respect! These are beautiful and really rare coins. No question this coin borders on full PR67 quality. We think the deeper toning on the reverse (probably where it laid on felt) is what is holding it back. The mirrors are deep and command your attention. They have good clarity, cleanliness, and of course strong reflection. The obverse is bathed in a totally original aqua blue/green mix. The reverse has totally original blue/mauve/purple colors. Miss Liberty and every detail stand out with frosted sharply struck features. The eye appeal is wonderful! ONLY 725 were minted. PCGS 10, NGC 11, CAC 6. This is the ONLY PR66+ graded. PCgs has graded only 2 in PR67. We think coins like this are too cheap today. If it were a larger coins with these low pops,  it would be $4,000.00 EASY. Consider building a PR set of these.
