J-0177 1/2C 1856 PCGS PR-64

This is an R-5 (about 50-75 coins minted). It is also very cool because it is copper nickel.

As with the rest of the coins from this wonderful Pattern Collection, you can tell it was hand selected for its high end qualities and superior eye appeal. It i one of the few PR Half Cents we have seen that really does have strong mirrors. There is NO question this piece is 100% original and have never been messed with. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. At first glance, it does look PR65. PCGS 9, NGC 3. PCGS has graded 3 higher. The great rarity of this piece can not be overstated. If it were a regular PR 64BN, it would cost about the same! Not a bad deal at all.
