Quality wise, this piece can NOT be topped! If it were a PR Large Cent and looked like this, it would sell for $15,000.00++ no matter how “common” of a date. The mirrors are amazing and have incredible depth, clarity (unusual for copper), cleanliness, and bold reflectivity. There are a few pinpoint stains visible only under a glass-and there are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The color is a superb GEMMY glossy brown.

This piece is tied for the FINEST KNOWN in BN. It may very well be the FINEST of any color. PCGS 2, NGC 0. This is an R-5 with 31-75 possibly minted. We actually believe the number to be far less. Still, at $5,500.00 for a SUPERB GEM PR Pattern from 1863??? We call this STUPID CHEAP!
