J-173 1C 1855 PCGS PR65+ BN

$13,500.00

This pattern is so wicked cool. It is the Large size Flying Eagle Pattern of 1855. It is a R-7 (4-12 minted) struck in Bronze (and all other kinds of stuff according to the holder).  The coin is VERY high end. Remarkable deep mirrors beam from all over. You just do NOT see mirrors like these on 1855 regular copper Large Cents. The mirrors are superb and are clean, clear, and offer bold reflection. If you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. Both sides clearly are totally original are an even chocolate brown/pale blue (good blue-NOT MS70 blue). Most impressive is the fact every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike. The Eagle really jumps out at you!Overall, the eye appeal is just gonzo great! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded one PR66 and that coin has never sold at auction.  Combine the great quality and rarity of this coin and we strongly believe  at our offering price it is a bargain. You have a stunning coin, that is obsolete, in a metal where its difficult to find anything nice, with a most popular design, and a coin that has not been on the market for ages. With those specs, it sounds like it should be worth over $20,000.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!
