J-177 H.01 1856 PCGS PR64

$3,850.00

This is an R-5 31-75 minted. This is struck in Copper Nickel. We have seen a few of these and so far, this actually ranks among the finer coins. We assure you, it is that high end! You can actually see the mirrors on this coin. They have unexpected strong clarity. Only a few microscopic contract marks are all we see keeping this GEM from being a PR65. Overall, the surfaces are clean and do have somewhat reflective mirrors. A moderate mix of totally original  “woody” brown and sandy brown form a beautiful combination. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is like the quality-outstanding! PCGS 15, NGC 6, CAC 2. The last one to sell at auction brought $4,230.00 7/2018. These are far rarer than the regular Proofs which have 225 minted (the last one of those to sell in auction brought $4,700.00 and was NOT CAC). When you can buy ANY pattern for way less then a regular piece of the same grade-do it! Patterns are dirt cheap as compared to Type. WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
