This coin is a low R-7 (4-12 minted). It is a dateless 1856 FE pattern! WICKED COOL! In our opinion, this is one of the neatest Patterns that exists! We love this coins total ORIGINALITY and quality. Its got a major WOW factor you don’t get from regular FE’s!
We can’t say this coin has glowing mirrors as they are shallow and slightly glossy. There are a few toning dots scattered about. Both sides are a superb totally ORIGINAL chocolate brown with faint hints of red. The details are all needle sharp in strike and display light frost. The eye appeal is wicked neat!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. In 2008 a PR64 sold for $29,900.00 Goldberg. We never ever see these. We think they should be worth at least $50,000.00 (since they are the real patterns for year of the FE’s). Regardless, its a heck of a coin to add to any Pattern of FE set!
