J- 647 10C 1868 PCGS PR67

$17,500.00

This coin is a R-6 (13-30 minted). It is a 10C pattern. Did the early minters ever mess around? WOW, they tried all kinds of neat designs and metals. This coin is basically Proof Large Cent struck in Nickel. Its too wicked cool!

Surprising mirrors are deep, clear, super clean, and have strong reflectivity (some thing you rarely see on large size nickel pieces). This coin does have light contrast. There is a blush of light gold toning and the surfaces are original. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. We are not sure if 2 exist. Even if they so, so? This is one ultra rare and wicked neat pattern!
