This is an R7 (4-12 minted). It is a Standard Silver pattern struck in copper. The radiance is powerful!
Time has mellowed the unquestionably ORIGINAL Mint Red color that is on both sides of the coin. Shades of brown/pale blue/gold can be seen as well. The reverse is slightly darker in color. The mirrors are surprisingly strong. They have great clarity, cleanliness, and reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. the eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. The ONLY auction record for ANY J-914 is an NGC PR65 selling in 1994 for $25,30.00. The current Judd book values a PR65 at $3,800.00. Even they have no record of any GEMs’s selling.
