J- 918 1870 25C PCGS PR65 EX SIMPSON/BASS

This coin is an R-7 (4-12 minted). It was formerly in the Harry Bass Pattern Collection. An NGC tag stating that comes with the coin).

We grade this coin a 65++. Only a few microscopic ticks keep this coin from being a full PR66. You can NOT see them with the naked eye. The surfaces are amazingly clean, clear, and glassy looking. Both sides have mirrors with powerful reflectivity. An even moderate mix of pale blue/lime/gold/purple colors swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
