This is a R-7 (4-12 minted) die trial struck in aluminum. The design is the one that was used on Seated coinage.
Save for a slight imperfection in the planchet at 1:00 on the obverse, this coin is really pristine. The mirrors are super deep, have incredible clarity, are clean, and have awesome reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is spectacular!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This may be the FINEST known. The ONLY auction record we could dig up for the date at all is one for a PR65 which sold for $15,525.00 in 2004 Heritage. The Judd Book values these at $20,000.00 in PR65. Remember, this is an AMAZING PR66 Cameo!
