$1 1846O PCGS MS63+

For a date that comes plain old nasty, this is a an excellent example! Super clean surfaces (and we do mean near perfect surfaces) are a joy to behold. Only using a strong glass will find just 1-2 microscopic ticks. There are faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The overall luster is light. Both sides have heavy toning of totally original purple/gun metal gray/blue/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 7, NGC 1, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only this coin in MS63+. NO PCGS  NS63+ has ever been sold via auction. Next step up will costs you at least $60,000.00-if you can even find one of the 3 PCGS has graded higher. Plus, you have to love the this is one of the higher grade survivors from a historical obsolete Mint.
