1879-S $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS67+ (CAC)

A very pleasing coin!

Strong traces of semi-prooflike mirrors are visible all over. All marks are held to a bare minimum. Only when using a strong glass can you find one TINY tick on the face (not visible to the naked eye ). There is a totally original band of deep golden brown at both 6:00 on the obverse and reverse. The rest of the coin is a creamy original white. There actually is light contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 1,819, NGC 2,458. CAC 623. PCGS has graded possibly 244 in MS67+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $2,400.00 12/2023. The current Collectors universe value is $2,350.00. This is also , a 100% fresh coin to the market being put away for at least 15+ years!
