$1 1883 PCGS MS66+ DMPL THE FINEST!

This piece is the FINEST 1883 DMPL that exists! Originally we were offered the coin for $35,000.00 and waited the owner out. We do know he paid well into the $20’s for it raw!!!!! This is not a marginal coin. In fact, it is closer to MS67 than to 66. Deep mirrors beam extensively from all over. They are a full 8+” and at first glance look like Proof mirrors. The clarity and reflection of the mirrors are bold. There are just a few very tiny widely scattered ticks to be found. This coin was struck from slight worn dies. Still, Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The frosting on the devices is so thick this coin looks like it was carved from a block of ice. The eye appeal is jaw dropping! PCSG 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. What is really interesting to note: the last REGULAR PCGS MS66 1883 DMPL  to sell in auction brought $20,700.00 back in 07/2008 and was NOT CAC (thats when CAC started).
