We actually bought this coin grading it an MS65. After 3 submissions and not even a +, we’re done. We’ll take our lumps and move on.
This coin is very much comparable to our GEM MS65 1831 10C. The surfaces are vividly perfect. Even using a strong glass you will not find even a pinpoint problem. They do have good original :skin” still showing. The luster is very good and it shows off the even original deep creamy white/pale pewter colors. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have crisp standout strikes. The eye appeal is superb!
PCGS 20, NGC 32, CAC 13 (this coin is probably 3 of the pop). The last PCGS MS64 CAC 1836 to sell in auction brought $3,290.00. We paid well in excess of that price. Our loss, is YOUR gain!
