25C 1877 PCGS MS66+

This is a SUPERB example of a date that typically comes toned and dullish. Billowing, brilliant silver luster shines on both the obverse and reverse of this impeccable GEM. Completely untoned, this beauty looks as fresh today in 2017 as it did 140 years ago when it was struck. Boldly defined devices and the surfaces are free and clear of any majorly distracting marks. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 60, NGC 54, CAC 15. Only 4 are graded MS66+ at PCGS.  We purchased this coin out of our May 2017 sale for $2,820.00, no others have sold via auction.
