$1 1877 PCGS MS64

When we were building the Legend Collection of MS Trade Dollars-the all time finest known EVER, the last coin we needed in MS65 was an 1877. We can tell you, we purchased countless MS64’s-ALL with weak strikes. That drove us nuts. So take our word on this, this is one rare 1877!

The quality is high end too. The surfaces are pretty clean overall with any teenie imperfections visible only with a glass. An unusual and impressive luster show off beautiful colors of blue (that frames the rims) and centers that have a pale violet/tangerine like color. As we mentioned before, Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck! Yes, the stars are all defined! The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 62, NGC 62. In MS65 its PCGS 4, NGC 9. We do NOT agree with 2 of the MS65’s. of course PCGS has graded none higher. If you are building a truly quality set-then this IS the 1877 you need! FULL STRIKES ARE EXTREMELY RARE. Also, a REAL MS65 will cost you at least $25,000.00-if you can find one!
