50C 1939 ARK SET PDS PCGS MS66

We have only seen one other true GEM matched Original in the past few years. Most sets are put together.

While this is not a wild colored set, it is a very pleasing pretty set. The quality is definitely superior. All of the coins surfaces are are silky smooth and are super clean. The luster is surprisingly strong and shows off a light pearl/champagne/pale gold color. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is excellent!

Only 2100 sets were ever been minted. In M66 the stopper is the P Mint with a pop of 26. Here are the pops: P Mint: PCGS 26, NGC 19, CAC 5. D Mint: PCGS 64, NGC 30, CAC 6. S Mint: PCGS 79, NGC 52, CAC 9. There are no numbers for sets.

We have been a student and dealer in Commems for OVER 30 years. We can not stress enough how rare it is for a high grade 1939 Ark set to appear-especially one that is unmessed with (and all CAC’d).
