1913-S $5 Gold Indian Head PCGS MS64 (CAC) A SILENT STOPPER!

The extreme rarity of this coin in TRUE quality MS64 can NOT be overstated. For sure this is an ABOVE AVERGAGE piece. We easily rank this coin VERY HIGH END!

These typically come miserable looking and of poor quality. Not this borderline GEM. We used a strong glass and found only two tiny thin cuts on each side. They are not visible to the naked eye and are well hidden. Overall, the surfaces are not baggy either and they have a matte like texture. In fact the surfaces look ultra clean. No question this piece is also totally original. The luster is moderate all over. Both sides are a deeper 100% original gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. For a 13-S, the eye appeal is VERY pleasing!

PCGS 17, NGC 9, CAC 4 (this coin could be 2x at CAC). Forget ALL published numbers for this coin. There is one PCGS CAC MS65-and we paid $200,000.00 for that years ago. Half Dome last year purchased the Simpson PCGS MS66+ CAC for $500,000.00. In MS64 and higher, these are far rarer than most collectors understand.
