1869-S $10 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS AU55 (CAC) SUPERB! FAIRMONT

This is NOT your typical Fairmont coin. We really LOVE this rare SUPERB AU GEM. We rank it as VERY HIGH END.

Not much keeps this coin from an AU58 designation. Sure there are a few ticks scattered around, but there are no bad marks or problems. Using a strong glass only made us appreciate this coin even more. There is a soft luster. The good thing, this does NOT have any of the dirty toning a lot of Fairmont coins have. The color is a mild original gold w/some faint orange gold highlights by the rims. There are no strains or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 9, NGC 13, CAC 3. CAC has beaned only 4 higher. On 04/2022 a PCGS CAC example brought $18,600.00. The current Collectors Universe value is $22,500.00. The finest graded is only a PCGS CAC MS63.
