No question this coin is SUPERB in every respect! We sold it to Denali many years ago as a SUPER HIGH END 67. Yep, PCGS and CAC agreed that the coin is closer to PR68 than 67! .
Deep mirrors burst with a strong reflection. Even though it is toned, you can see the flash of the mirrors feet away. There are no lines or problems anywhere. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that “watery” like roll. Wonderful natural colors of olive/forest green/pale blue/lime swirl all over. These are not dull or drab colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is great!
Only 727 were minted. PCGS 16, NGC 12, CAC 7. PCGS has possibly graded only 4 in PR67+ and one PR68. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,750.00.
