This GEM has all the bells and whistles. It also has an Eagle eye bean. We rank the coin as VERY HIGH END! We really LOVE this GEM.
We can not stress enough how close to a + or even an MS66 this coin is (NO promises). We think one tiny dot well hidden in the Eagles wing is all that keeps it from grading higher. The dot is more like a piece of something-it is NOT a fleck. We used a strong glass and looked all over the surfaces and they are impressively clean and have a full booming luster. Every detail is sharply struck. The eye appeal is exceptional!
PCGS 202, NGC 129, CAC 58. The last PCGS piece to sell via auction was NOT CAC. It brought $12,000.00 06/2025. The price guides are busy playing catch up on this date and grade. This is not a pancake holder-it is an old green tag.
