1927-S $1 Dollar Peace PCGS MS65 (CAC)

We resubmitted this coin 2x seeking a +. We’ve seen worse coins in + holders. The coin sure has the right look.

GEM white surfaces have a super satiny texture. Only when using strong magnification can you see some Mint made die striations. There are a few very light bag marks/frost breaks in the left obverse field. We think that is what might keep this coin from a MS65+ or higher. There are no spots or discolorations. Both sides are a GEM original white. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and sharply struck. The eye appeal is remarkable!

PCGS 138, NGC 100. CAC 23. The price guides are all wrong for this date and grade. It should be noted an MS65+ is worth OVER $30,000.00-if you can even find a PCGS CAC example. We paid OVER $10,000.00 for this coin.
