1908-S $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS66+ (CAC) HALF DOME

We can’t say enough about this coin’s killer qualities. At first glance, it looks more like a common 1928 than a 1908-S. Using a strong glass, we gave this coin a hard look over. The cleanliness is mind-blowing. We found NO bag marks or cuts. The texture is satiny. A bold, cartwheel-like luster beams strongly all over. There are no spots or discolorations anywhere. Both sides are a GEM original gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is sensational!

PCGS 13, NGC 5, CAC 10. PCGS has graded 4 in MS66+. The current Collectors Universe value is $225,000.00. One has not traded since 2019—which, in Saint terms, is forever ago. This coin does look better than a few MS67s we have seen (we do not like the copper spots these typically come with).
