The image is god awful-the coin is not! We very much like this flashy near miss GEM. We rank it VERY HIGH END!
Deep and flashy mirrors bring out a lot of life for the coin. There are few lines or issues to be found. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a sheet of glass with some water rolling around. Both sides are engulfed by pretty original colors of olive/faint every green/gold/deep champagne colors. There is strong contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick frost. The eye is great (for real)!
Only 637 minted. PCGS 71, NGC 44, CAC 9. PCGS has graded only this coin in PR64+. It has been off the market since 2011! ALL published prices for this coin (and date) are far behind the market.
