Clearly, this coin sat undisturbed forever. We used a strong glass and looked all over. We found zero imperfections. A light luster is visible through the more moderate toning. Rich and totally original colors of cranberry/cobalt blue/russet swirl all over. This is NOT a black coin. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is just fine!
PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. These sure do not grow on trees in ANY grade! This coin last sold for $19,200.00 04/2025 to someone was was working on a STD Half Dime set. he gave up. At least there is a Collector Universe value of $22,000.00. Good luck finding the other CAC example! What a great addition this coin will make in ANY SUPERB GEM O mint or Half Dime set.
