Finally! We have spent a year trying to buy a nice PRE 1830 PCGS CAC MS65 Bust Half that is nice. We rank this coin VERY HIGH END!
Excellent surfaces are a mild satiny texture. The cleanliness of this coin is impressive. We used a strong glass and snooped all over and found zero issues. A surprisngly strong luster beams all over. Both sides are a wonderful and are a totally original silvery/pewter/ color. Miss Liberty and the details are clearly frosty and are fully struck. There are no highpoint discolorations. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 47, NGC 57, CAC 15. Do NOT be fooled by the pops. It took us over a year to buy one of these. This is how poorly reported the price guides are-the last one of these to sell was back in 2020. That coin brought $8,519.00! It is Legends strong opinion that ANY NICE MS 65 PCGS CAC Bust half should be worth $8-$10,000.00 easy today. Just try and find them PRE 1830!
