NO SHOWS NO PROBLEM
We managed to keep up with a very busy week. We sold a few coins off the web and helped broker a major deal. Yeah, our partner Bruce is at it again. We proudly helped him buy the $2.5 1798 PCGS MS65 CAC for his Type set and a few other rarities Take our word on this, only the VERY BEST will do for Bruce. Others can brag and make claims all they want, Bruce gets it right as far as building world class collection.
Selling the VERY BEST coins also helps us stay busy (see the NEW Hot Topics). Clearly, the top tiers of the collecting community have embraced PCGS CAC coins. That is why we work so hard to have a world class inventory of those coins. They enjoy strong demand and the coins sell.
This past week we had several dealers call us and offer us some very interesting coins. We did buy a few. Collectors have been contacting us too-but too many have widgets, not what we really need. Then we actually got “hit” with two of the coins we had been looking for all year-Flat Rim High Reliefs in PCGS MS65 CAC. Even when there are no shows, interesting activity does not stop.
It will be interesting from now until the PCGS Members Only Show in New Orleans the 23-25th. Its over a month out from Long Beach and a month until the Baltimore show. That is a lot of empty time for dealers. And if the grading is the same as the last show-where most dealers complained they had their worst shows ever, it will impact the market with a huge lack of material. In fact, we predict that will happen and the market will be dry until FUN.
At least Legend is good to go for a while. We’ll be selling coins from this 800 coins deal probably until the end of the year. We’re picking up another very interesting deal in a week and we are talking to people about two more. Plus, we have a group of exciting big ticket NEWPS yet to posted.

This week were able to offer a wonderful mix of coins.
The highlight for sure is the 5C 1914 PCGS PR68 CAC Ex Forsythe . It has been off the market for well over a decade in the #1 collection. The coin is a screaming monster!
The H.10 1841-O PCGS MS67 CAC is crazy! LOVE this coin. We tried it 2x for a +!
The J-916 25C 1870 PCGS PR67 Cameo Ex Simspon is a duplicate from the all time # 1 pattern collection. To have a coin that rare and so high quality for below $10,000.00-is cheap!
All the other coins were selected for their top quality for the grade and eye appeal. Again, others make claims, we buy step up and buy the real coins!

JEFFERSON NICKEL COLLECTORS AND WASHINGTON QUARTER COLLECTORS
Right now we have unbelievable COMPLETE Sets of each (for sale as sets only right now).
The Nickels are 1938-1964 all PCGS all FS. Many tied or are the finest graded.
The Washington Quarters 1932-1964 is 98% complete.All major varities are included. The set is all PCGS and 68 pieces are CAC. Many are tied for finest graded. Several of the later coins have incredible toning.

A SMALL WORLD-A TRIVIAL NOTE
While in Las Vegas we had the pleasure of actually going back stage and meeting Penn and Teller the magicians. Yes, Teller talks. He even taught us a card trick! Super nice guys.
What was really cool-Penn Jillette told us all about his father who owned a coin store in western Mass for many years. And get this, he went to the ANA Show every summer w/his dad. Guess coins just did not do the trick for him!
