IT IS SCARY TO THINK WHERE WE’D BE IF THERE WERE SHOWS
This week started off sluggish for us. We saw all our buddies doing well and we were almost demoralized. But then we handle much more expensive coins. Starting Wednesday afternoon, with the sale of the $10 Rolled Edge, we hit an unbelievable selling streak. The Rolled Edge went exactly where we wanted it to-a collector building a major Type set. After that sale was confirmed, it was non stop selling. Coins from $1,000.00 to $30,000.00 blew off our web site. Of course the world class issue remains: we can NOT replace anything! Yikes! Sure we’ll buy generics all day long, but our real clientele craves better gold and better coins in general. We’re not so sure even having shows would make a difference right now. Plus, much to our surprise, we only see one or two people dumping to raise cash.
Gold slithered back up this morning (Friday 28th) by $35.00 and is flirting with $2,000.00 again. We firm believe it will shoot past that and on to record prices. As we have said many times, the underlying factors are still there for gold to keep rising.
Now, the fundemental factors for rare coins to in increase in value are growing too. THERE ARE NO TRUE RARE COINS AROUND. Sure, next month Simpson starts, but there are more Patterns then rare coins.

Even if a 100% safe vaccine is ready tomorrow, the rare coin market has so much demand, it could only make things worse (demand would grow even more and harder). Coins simply are NOT on the market.
Coins are still cheap. Gold coins are still cheap. BUY WHAT YOU CAN TODAY. You will NOT regret it. We do think smaller collectors tho should take some generic gold off the table if they made a huge %. Or trade into much better rare coins. We can work and advise you on both.
We know we are starting to sound like a broken record. This is coin market we live in.
