The rare coin market is fine. Each day surprised us with the Type coins we sold. The majority were low to mid five figures. It was the area of anything gold that shocked us. We all of a sudden saw some demand again for generics. We sent out several five-figure gold coins. The first week of February was, by far, not as quiet as we thought it would have been.

We attended a dinner on Tuesday with 6 world-class MAJOR dealers. We managed to get a small group early in the week and sold all but one coin—without posting them!
If you had noticed, we had pulled back a bit about suggesting people buy gold. Now, we are full throttle recommending it. We firmly believe, as supplies dwindle, the premiums MUST come back. And if not, we heard new estimates of gold going to $3,300.00 by the middle of the year.
At this point, the only real downside generics have is if gold crashes, which is unlikely. Sure, there could be profit-taking, etc., but if you read the CNBC article, it does not look like any of the foreign countries are sellers—for now.
