DOES NOT SEEM LIKE COLLECTORS ARE STUFFED

COLLECTORS ARE STILL HUNGRY

Much to our surprise, we had a very busy week. Even after 2 major auctions there does not seem to be a digestion problem. We sold many coins $5-$10,000.00. Of course most were gold. We had a lot of collectors reach out to discuss Legend Auctions Regency 42 sale next week. What was really interesting, many people are already talking to us about the second Larry Miller Sale and the Fun Auction.  Because of this , if you seek representation by us, contact us NOW! We work on a first come first serve basis. It boggles out minds that with the approximately $40 million in auctions recently, we do not hear even a hiccup. But then $40 million is one cheap painting in the art world. The other day we watched a Mecham car auction where they sold something like 220 collector cars for $14 million., There were 800 people in attendance-yikes! 2021 will be the year of hard assets. We are VERY bullish for 2021.

GOLD

What goes up, must come down. Give it time. Here is a highly credible forecast: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/24/gold-to-2500-two-etf-analysts-on-citis-bullish-call-for-2021.html. We are still as highly bullish on gold as ever.

The supply of PCGS CAC better gold coins is so finite we believe if the FUN Show happened today, there would be almost NOTHING to trade. The smart money has been and still is buying gold in various forms. We know a few major collectors building gold sets as their way of ownership of the metal.

This may sound hucksterish, but BUY ON THE DIP. Have prices for generics gone down? Maybe 5%. The only problem, NONE of the bids are being hit. Good luck buying any quantity of MS65/66 $20 Lib’s or Saints.

2021 should be the year of $2,500.00+ gold.

2021

At this point we have no firm changes in our biz plans. We do expect to attend the FUN show and the Thursday night Simpson auction.

In 2021 expect  the NEWPS to be posted Saturdays by noon instead of Fridays. Market Reports make take until Sunday afternoons. We are finally slowing things down a bit.

NEWPS

We managed to post a few NEWPS this week. There are 3 remarkably second finest known MS Barber 25C. They are real eye  poppers. We also have a real treasure ship coin-the $20 1865-S Brother Johnathan coin its in its original holder.  So wicked cool.

Its hard to maintain a large group of NEWPS. We will only buy and post coins we really like and have strict quality and terrific eye appeal.

Check out our regular inventory too. We have some really great PCGS CAC coins for sale. We’ll work hard to get you into the coins of your desires.
